Every year, the RCNR-DR accepts nominations for the Rotary Community Service Award. The purpose of the Award is to provide recognition and appreciation of individuals residing in the North Renfrew area (Deep River, Town of Laurentian Hills, Townships of Head,
Clara and Maria) who have contributed extraordinary volunteer services to the communities of the North Renfrew area.
Two awards are presented each year. One award of a Paul Harris Recognition for "Service Above Self" may be made.
Recipients of the awards are selected by a Rotary Club committee from among the nominations received in response to a public announcement requesting nominations.
Names of the award recipients are announced before the presentation. The presentation of the awards takes place during the annual Rotary Community Service Awards Dinner, which is on
Wednesday 30 November 2011 at the Bears Den (CLICK
