sure about paying on line? The following is from the Paypal member's site.
It describes the very simple process of donating to our Club on line. Once
you click the Donate button above, you will be taken to Paypal's secure
payment system, which is used and trusted by millions of people world
wide. After you complete your payment, you will be returned to our Club's
site. Paypal will send you a confirmation of your donation. We then go
onto the Paypal site and transfer your donation to our Club's bank
account.
We
are charged a 2.9% fee plus a $0.30 transaction fee. On a $100 donation,
we are charged $3.20. Unfortunately, we cannot avoid that cost unless we
receive a cheque or cash from you directly instead of via on line payment.
If you really want a $100 donation to be made to us, you might
consider adding $2 or $3 to your donation. We would certainly appreciate
that, and so would those who benefit from our work (which you can learn
about by visiting other pages on our website).
On
another of our web pages, it states, "We have no administrative
costs or overhead fees so 100% of your donations go entirely to the
eco-stoves and water filters.". That's really true - if you do
not add a little extra to cover Paypal fees, we cover the cost using some
of the money we raise through our Club's membership fees.
